Craft NOW!

16 January 2009 1,269 views 5 Comments

Sorry I have been a bit quiet lately, I am having the hardest time getting over the holiday burnout. I have been busy working on some custom orders and working on getting more custom work. I have added a page to this site for people who are interested in getting custom jewelry from recycled china here.

In other news, I have been asked by the American Craft Council show to do a demo of my process at the show in the Convention Center this February! I am a bit nervous about speaking for a crowd, but am willing to get over it. I am hopeful that it won’t inspire a new crop of broken plate artists, rather solidify my position as THE Broken Plate Pendant Co. haha. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing show which will also feature a few of my favorite “AltCraft” artists!

The 2009 AltCraft Artists at The American Craft Council Show in Baltimore:

• Annie Chau of Imogene (Baltimore, MD)
• Jennifer Cooke of Raeburn Ink (Northampton, MA)
Amber Coppings (Pittsburgh, PA)
• Deborah Cracchiolo of Tee-Pee-Toes (Detroit, MI)
