I am proud to introduce a new set of pendants made from a broken vase by San Francisco based artist, Diana Fayt. Diana sent these shards to me to work with, in an effort to help raise awaresness and money for P2P Rescue, a U.S.-based, not-for-profit organization working to raise awareness about and deliver support to Sri Lanka.
The pendants are now available in my Etsy shop, with $10 from each sale being donated to help P2P Rescue!

I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but Artscape starts on Friday! Oh, I did? OK, well just in case you forgot, Artscape is July 17-19. The forecast is looking amazing, despite the chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. Sunday will be 81 degrees and sunny, I think that is unheard of in Artscape history! I am planning on shutting down my Etsy shops for Artscape and for a week after to regroup and organize. If there is something that you have had your eye on, please let me know and …
DIY@ Artscape officially kicks off on Tuesday July, 14 with a screening of Handmade Nation, a documentary about the new wave of art, craft and design. Faythe Levine, film maker extraordinaire, will be on hand to answer questions after the film. I had the pleasure of seeing this movie as a part of the Summit of Awesome in DC. It was an inspiring time capsule that really captures the craft scene that we are so lucky to be a part of. I hope you can make it out. Check the Handmade …
I just updated my shop for, what will most likely be, the last time before Artscape. I need to focus on beefing up my craft show stock for the next 15 (!) days. There are a few new sets of earrings and a bunch of my new stretched broken plate pendants. As always, if you see something in my flickr gallery that you would like posted in my Etsy shop for you, just let me know!
Hello World! I Just wanted to check in for a moment and let you know what I have been up to. My next show is not until Artscape next month, so I am spending time filling wholesale orders, finishing up some wedding sets and trying to get a bit more creative with my jewelry. The piece to the left will be in a show in November at Baltimore Clayworks along with 12 other pieces. I am having fun experimenting a bit and getting out of my little pendant making box. I …
My interview with Gretchen of The Fashionable Foodie is live! It was such a fun interview, on an even more fun website. Make sure you poke around the site for lots of food and fashion fun.

I was lucky enough to meet Liz and Jeff of Cosa Verde at The Summit of Awesome a few weeks ago. They are a crafting/programming couple who have combined their talents to create this amazing website that makes it easy to navigate the sea green craft. In their words “We wanted to make it easy to find great green goods for your neo-hippie niece, your grandpa who doesn’t believe in global-warming, and everyone in-between.” I love the laid back, non-preachy vibe of the site that gives you the feeling that …
With some inspiration from Annie’s Vintage Bead Boutique, I have decided to open my new Esty shop, JustPlates, to share some of my plate stock with the world! I can only break so many plates, people. Here I will post plates that are either too cute to break, collectible, or came in too large a quantity for my jewelry. All plates are available for purchase or are available for custom jewelry orders.
I will slowly be adding lots of plates to the shop. Stay Tuned
